My guest in today’s episode #69 of The Nourishment Mindset podcast is the wonderful Dr. Anthony Daffner-Milos, a wonderfully compassionate, fabulously educated, humble, gentle and talented Doctor of Physical Therapy. (I know this as I’m a patient and have recommended him to plenty of people!) Dr. Anthony is the owner of ADM, a concierge PT practice with mobile service for local patients in Marco Island, Florida and telehealth for those located elsewhere.

We discuss how he discovered his calling into the profession, his love of learning and resulting numerous certifications — if the man were a master of languages he’d speak about 50! As well as his specialized and comprehensive training in The McKenzie Method, a modality that has helped me and my husband tremendously. Dr. Anthony Daffner-Milos is the owner and sole employee of A.D.M. Doctor of Physical Therapy, LLC. Dr. Anthony is cleared via Level 2 security background check and fingerprints are retained every five years, by law.

Section 435.04, Florida Statutes mandates Level 2 security background investigations be conducted on employees, defined as individuals required by law to be fingerprinted pursuant to Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.

Why This Matters: Enhanced Public Protection as background screening ensures health care practitioners meet high safety and integrity standards, fostering public trust.

Per Live Scan provider disclosures:

Authority: The FBI’s acquisition, preservation, and exchange of fingerprints and associated information is generally authorized under 28 U.S.C. 534. Depending on the nature of your application, supplemental authorities include Federal statutes, State statutes pursuant to Pub. L. 92-544, Presidential Executive Orders, and federal regulations. Providing your fingerprints and associated information is voluntary; however, failure to do so may affect completion or approval of your application.

Principal Purpose: Certain determinations, such as employment, licensing, and security clearances, may be predicated on fingerprint-based background checks. The logo for A.D.M. Doctor of Physical Therapy, LLC is currently patent pending. The servicemark application was filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in November 2024.

A.D.M.’s novel logo design is legally protected under intellectual property law. The brand name, logo, and other identifiers are not to be shared, manipulated, reproduced, used, or altered in any form by any means, or otherwise without the express permission of A.D.M.

Unauthorized use of the logo is a violation of intellectual property and punishable by law.

A.D.M. utilizes HIPAA compliant platforms including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Square and fax company. A.D.M. also has a Business Associate Agreement with Constant Contact.
